"We ordered this evening and picked it. The noodles were almost black. Seriously I never seen anything like it. The chicken in the curry smelled uncooked. Probably all thrown into the wok from frozen. Will not visit again."

"I had some nice meals here, but the duck in plum sauce is nice, but could with some bean spits, how it is only 1 duck breast (very nice also) a bit of sauce and many pineapple bites?? Something lost in the translation?? The chips and curry sauce is amazing."

"Amazing Chinese takeaway, not veg / vegan family said it is the best Chinese they had. it is not excessively fat/heavy. it's so good. ordering symsem is a bit of a faff (before 3pm over facebook or phone), but it is totally worth it. recommend the bbq gay and all ripen!"

"Having moved into the area recently, we have been looking for a decent Chinese, and until we found the reviews on China Star, were trying several, which really did not come up to scratch. The only criticism that I would make was that the order was missing one of the sauces that was ordered, but I will put that down to either the telephone order being not heard correctly, or the restaurant being very busy on a Saturday night. Rating the food, it must be 10/10 not only the best I have found locally, but I would also say the best I have found in the UK. A good sized menu which covers most tastes, and the Singapore Vermicelli was to die for. The portion sizes are also very generous, so much so, that next time we will need to order less ! Will be calling them very soon for another order."

"Ordered a takeaway for just two people. 2 meals 1 soup Prawn Sesame toast. So it wasn’t exactly what you would call a shipping order. One meal was missing but we did get the rice! When we rang “but you haven’t been charged for it”. So that’s okay then-not. What we did have was mediocre and bland. Disappointing, because we went and sat in a couple of years ago and it was really good. Perhaps they were having a bad night. It wasn’t busy."

"Wow! Ordered from here for the first time and it was absolutely amazing! We ordered a selection of dishes and all tried a bit of each. Each dish was delicious, I've never tasted meat substitutes like this, packed full of flavour, you literally wouldn't know the difference! Highly recommend to vegans, veggies and meat eaters!"
