"Our first sit down menu of the trip after departing from Louis Armstrong Airport this afternoon. fried aligator, catfish, shrimp and herbfish (made with house sauces). First for me for all but shrimps. Then cancer 2 ways. Grilled with crazy apron and as a goddess. Prepare it with homemade peach-bblers. Roll me back to the Bayou Cabins this girl is full and satisfied! The flavors were hearty with enough spices to know that you are in LA. Morgan's service was excellent and we can't wait to explore more of the area with their advice! Delicious food, quick and friendly service, a smile and the extra mile!"

"We took a Sunday drive to Breaux Bridge and had brunch at Cafe Sydnie Mae’s. The food service was excellent (but the bread pudding was fantastic)! When leaving we had car trouble and needed to go to the auto part store down the street. The owner, David offered to bring my husband their and back and assisted with the repairs. It was a genuine act of kindness and southern hospitality and it was much appreciated! It was our first trip there but it certainly won’t be our last!"

Gumbo served lukewarm, dining area not clean, and rude service. I used to have fond memories of this place. I'll keep those memories but I won't be back. "My wife and I stayed at Landry's dinner tonight with our three young children (2,3 and 5). You can be a handful of a good day, but today they were six hours in the car. We asked to sit away from other customers not to disturb their peaceful meal and the staff was friendly enough to do so. Our server was extremely helpful and tolerant for our situation. Our meal was wonderful and the waiting period between order and serving was very minimal. Thank you for your patience with our family and a wonderful meal."

"My wife and I are on our first trip to Louisiana. After a long back road trip from New Orleans to Lafayette, we were ready for some food and a beer. We just happened to pass this restaurant and had to turn around to come inside. As we entered the restaurant, we were warmly welcomed by the owner Steve. He came to our table and answered any questions we had about the menu. He offered us suggestions/recomendations, which we always trust, especially when it comes from the owner. After having local Cajun cuisine for five days, we were looking for something a little different. A burger was good with me and I went with the Blaise and the jalapeno hushpupies, both where very good. My wife got the chicken poboy and fried okra, she agrees, both were delicious. Local art is displayed on the walls and available for sale if anything catches your eye. Some were created by his daughter, she is very talented! He spent a good bit of time with us in conversation, we appreciated his insight and his food! Thanks Steve!! From the michigan fan and buckeye nut!"
