"We showed up for lunch with a team of younger baseball players, coaches, parents, and siblings. We had just over an hour and we knew it might be cutting it close. The waitress was on top of her game and she let us know this wasn’t her first rodeo. She raised her voice (in a nice way) and told the kiddos that they had to be quiet and in their seats to be able to order food. Orders went in, everyone ate, food was great, and we made it back in time for the next game. Jethro’s is always good food, the service this time around was outstanding and I’m glad we got the person we did for our wait staff. The place is usually pretty busy, but they always do a good job of getting people seated quickly and making Jethro’s a great time for everyone."

"Went to Ben?s Burgers with my fiancée spur of the moment. Very clean burger spot. The employees were very nice. But when the food came out it was a disappointment. The only flavor/seasoning on the cheeseburgers was salt (or it seemed like it). There wasvery little sauce and left the burgers very dry. The cheese wasn?t even melted on the burgers. The burger itself was so thin,(now I know why they kept asking if we wanted a double cheeseburger). The French fries were good! They were crispy and hot. Thesalt ratio on the fries was good. The price was not too bad. I?m thinking about going back and trying a double cheeseburger."

"Never had been here and it was definitely curious. You have to go to the center of the restaurant to pick a bag your sub will be put in. I enjoyed the gimic. I ordered the wicked on wheat bread. They claim it is their signature sandwich. Always have to order what they say is there greatest the first time. The bread looked white not wheat. But they toastes the bread and it was pretty awesome. Of course I was starving as I hadn't ate all day. I would order from there again. I am a fan of many deli's, but now I know I have one in Ankeny that I can go to when I'm there and in the mood."

"I and my partner visited this past Tuesday to enjoy a quick dinner. we showed up shortly after 3:30 a.m. and enjoyed a comfortable lunch served by a wonderful waitress I am always terrible with names that stood us in a standing near the bar and kitchen. first we were surprised how dead it was, but given the timing on Tuesday it is one of these quiet times. I ordered the big bacon bbq burger and I was accumulated at the size of the bbq. when I was finished, I almost had no more space for the pommes. the burger was amazing and we also had a side order to Salsa chips. the complementary, but still pleasant. plus drinks and a comfortable quiet ambiente. I wish we had one in waterloo cedar. note for them entrepreneurs franchisees. preferably waterloo. cedar if can keep their buffalo wild wings as competitive."
