"The small steam Mussel was amazing. Even the portion for 'small ' was actually very generous. The chicken wings and snapper was also very good. Tenderloin was decent but unexciting. Nice beautiful restaurant located at the Grounds of Alexandria. The tables were surrounded by a diverse and beautiful floral decor. Staff were friendly but often absent from area (making it hard to find someone to order or pay). Serving time was a bit slow as well. Overall a nice restaurant for a pleasant meal or a date."

"Look at the photographs, my friends! Mecca is definitely one of the most beautiful cafes in Sydney. Surrounded by car repair yards, the cafe is situated in a former warehouse along Bourke Road. Parking can be a little troublesome during lunch hours as I spent about 15 minutes searching for an available space. The cafe features a high ceiling and huge wooden tables with black hairpin legs. <br>

The food is slightly disappointing. I tried the kimchi chicken burger and was expecting a tantalizing onslaught of sour and spicy kimchi fighting for attention from my tastebuds. However, there is minimal or non-existent kimchi. I would suggest that the chef to marinate the chicken pieces longer to get rid of the "foul" chicken smell too."

"I was so impressed with the pricing of Chicky Char Char, especially in comparison to others in the area. The menu really caters for a wide range of options. From burgers to salads to chicken meals and more. I chose a large container from the salad bar. It was $12.00 and actually a family size container with a raised lid. Each of the salads were generous with chicken and really satisfying. I will continue to go for a great lunch option!"

"This cafe is always busy which is a good sign. They offer a selection of Asian food and have a sandwich bar all of which you can customize your orders. They have create your own sandwich/wrap , salad and stir-fries other than that they have the usual cafe menu."

"We had a table of 6 people for my daughters birthday lunch yesterday 19/6/16 & we ordered at 12 noon. Our food was brought out to us one by one so no-one actually ate together. We waited 1 1/2 hours for our food then I was told my pizza was not ready and if I'd like to choose something else or get a refund. Being the last one to be served food meant eating alone. The point of eating out is to eat 'together' right?They did not bring me my refund,So I had to go get it from the front desk. They offered me a piece of ricotta cake and maid me pay for my coffee. The waitress kept saying "I can't give you free coffee and there is nothing I can do for you."The service was absolutely terrible. The chef didn't look like she knew what she was doing. The waiters were very uneducated in 'serving customers with a smile' A table of 3 sat next to us and their food was brought out all together and before our food. How does that work! They did nothing to encourage us to visit this cafe again. So all in all, an Italian cafe, looked nice and we are all of Italian background but I can assure you WE will NEVER visit this terrible cafe again!"
