"Courtepaille is kind of a fixture when travelling on French highways. It’s a typically French steakhouse where meat is grilled on a central fireplace. I’ve been dozens of times and it always makes for a lovely lunch or dinner. Most of the menu consists in...meat based dishes such as entrecôte, andouillette or souris d’agneau, or for the more adventurous, steak tartare (served raw with an egg). They now have vegetarian options you can swap the beef for a vegetarian tomato patty in burgers. I went for a squash soup with a steak tartare and rice pudding for dessert, all of which were delicious. The staff is very courteous but the service was a bit slow at times. tl;dr: Courtepaille is a good quality steakhouse. You’re in for a treat!"
