"A cute family restaurant located in Bala, themed with the fire fighter in mind. Although extremely busy the staff was so friendly and accommodating to us. Our food was excellent. Definitely would recommend and eat there again!"

"Well organized takeout halibut chips dining experience! We packed our lawn chairs, took our beverages, couples, arrived at pm Thursday, immediately placed our order, no lineup, picked up complete order within mins! Parking lot looked very full but they prepare the...orders quickly. Halibut done perfectly with a thin batter, French fries tasty, tartar sauce creamy coleslaw. We were handed a sm black plastic bag with our complete order, plastic utensils, serviette condiments. We ate on the grass, sun was shining few bugs. Atmosphere was pleasant, social distancing practised, Hand sanitizer offered at ordering window signs informing customers on Covid protocol. A picnic atmosphere, great food, big orders(some couples shared a halibut meal) fast service made us want to return soon. We packed up all our waste in the plastic bag it was easy to tidy up for the next diners. To avoid lineups, go during the week!"

"I had a full order of halibut and chips! it came with three fish pieces. the halibut was fresh and coated with a slightly crispy teig. it is really the star of the meal, therefore I give it five stars. Now, to be fair, I did not really consider the riders as they were a little soggy as we ordered to take (appeared to commercial frits, not fresh cut) and the koleslaw was a little on the Bland side (probably needed a bit more sugar and salt for the spicy and zittery). total a great value for what they pay for portions. I will definitely order again!"
