"The food was fantastic. The service required a lot of heavy hints and reminders to complete basic services like removing empty plates, inquiring about additional drinks from the bar, and providing water refills. It was difficult to hear conversation across the table during the evening meal that we were there for."

"The Basa and their shrimp are delicious. They put sugar in their Mac n cheese though.... You may like it but that's not for me. They open when they want to(even though they serve breakfast) but don't close until midnight. Their dinners are $15 it comes with 2 sides, a drink, and a piece of cake."

"It's a bit pricey but worth it. That butterly flavor infused in their Buffalo sauce was amazing. The again Burton wings were tasty, too. Mac n cheese was creamy and flavorful but overpriced for that tiny amount. Okra was awesome. Fried to perfection, and the portion was huge. We'll visit again when we're in town."

"Always a great stop for happy hour. Also $10 Pizza Fridays are awesome.They seem to have events almost every day, sometimes multiple events per day(weekends).I've been there during trivia one night, even though I wasn't playing I had a blast. The emcee's for trivia are awesome at keeping everyone pumped."

"There seemed to be a lot of pop-up holiday bars this season and this one came across my search. A few weeks ago we had a couple friends in town so it made sense to make our way to Martin City. I was a little hesitant just because we don 't live close by, but it was worth a shot. We made reservations fairly early in the day, but it 's hard to know these days if they will be busy or not. Once we arrived, it was obvious that the event space above the bar was being used for a children 's dance class or practice of some sort. That said, some of the parents had made their way to the bar for some beverages. I don 't see why more parents drink; however, this was putting a bit of a damper on our experience as their parent conversation was fairly loud. I know we all like to enjoy a cocktail, but I don 't need to hear your conversation with the bartenders. As for the decor, it was very festive and tastefully done, but this is not a speakeasy. There was also very few cocktails to choose from. We also ordered some parmesan fries for an appetizer but they were tasteless and not worth it. It may seem harsh but I think McDonald 's could provide a more flavorful and gourmet plate of fries. Honestly, the only thing keeping this review at a 3 is because our waitress was very polite and the limited drink options were actually tasty. There are/were better options for a holiday pop-up bar."

"The cook is super nice. I ordered a big portion and said I’ll be eating at the store, so I told her I don’t need a bag. She gave me one anyway just in case. Well, I proved her wrong haha. I think the convenience store and hamburger shop is family owned. Good food. Would go again."
