"Today we dropped in for some dinner, service is good the food is not so good, I ordered hallumi burger the bread was stale falling to bits , my son ordered the meatballs in a flat bread he enjoyed it but the bread was not fresh either, worse thing is how dirty the place is, go in the toilets and see for yourself,"

"Reasonably good food, interesting place though. Burger could have done with less oregano in and more seasoning, the buffalo wings were a bit lack lustre (not very saucy and a bit overcooked deep fried and my order was incorrect on two counts (wrong side and wrong beer! But the atmosphere is relaxed and the staff are nice it is also not overpriced. Inside it is an eclectic mix of run down shabby chic, mis matched furniture and great music. You can definitely chill out here and not be rushed. A little tweak to the food the rubs are great though, don't change these and Carlisle has a cracking little BBQ American food restaurant."

"Found this place randomly on a day trip. Party of 4, we had a burger with Pommes and Coleslaw, and it was shameful. Proper, freshly cooked food from natural ingredients. We enjoyed it. The staff was attentive and accommodating. Would highly recommend, shame that we could no longer stay!!"

"Very friendly staff, interacting with our soon 2 year old child. beer garden looked quite full so we sat in the bar area that allow dogs in really delicious burgers. the tweezer rings....OMG soouu good! little 1 enjoyed their scampi fries, scoop by choc ice cream! extensive menu. something for every taste. we will definitely visit here again"

"We decided to treat ourselves to a rare child free lunch somewhere nice. When we arrived I thought the lady wasn’t very welcoming. There was only us and another table of three there. I noticed that the other table were offered drinks almost immediately. The food was very good, but after our table had been cleared the other table was offered sweets or coffee, despite finishing after us. After she had served their coffee she seemed to disappear completely. After waiting until 2pm I eventually got up to find her hiding round the corner. I asked to see the dessert menu which she brought, only to return a few moments later to say the kitchen was closed. The website clearly said lunch time service was till 3pm. It was all a bit bizarre really, I felt like we weren’t wanted there. When we left she didn’t say thank you or good bye."
