"I didn't catch the name of the bartender who helped us with ordering our food but he was super nice and friendly. He also checked in on us to see if we needed anything a few times but wasn't overbearing. I'm not used to any additional service after receiving food in that kind of smaller venue with limited staff. The service was excellent and the burger was DELICIOUS. Thank goodness they didn't skimp on the napkins because it was a bit messy but worth it. I had the bacon cheddar burger and my husband had a spicy chicken situation he can't remember the name) that was really good as well. Live music, great service and food was so needed on this cold mid-week night."

"The food was great. The ribs had an excellent flavor and were fall off the bone moist, the chicken and brisket were moist and flavorful, and the sausage was great. My son had the sundae mac and cheese and loved it. My wife said the brisket reuben wasdelicious. We tried as sides the beans which had a great sweet flavor), potato salad, onion rings, and fries....all delicious.Will definitely be back again!"

"The food was pretty good. It had this old school pizzeria vibe that I was used to as a child. I was lost in Nostalgie and waited for our order. The food we ordered was pretty good. Surprisingly, we ordered everything as pizza. I have to try the pizza next time. I have a suspicion that it will be good, but I don't want to judge prematurely or my nostalgia will dazzle my mind. I'll update when I try the pizza!"

"This isn't my IDEAL diner, for a few reasons. First, my ideal diner has a lunch and dinner menu, is open 24/7, and serves really good cake. Second, my ideal diner is located within walking distance of my house so I can eat diner cake at ten PM if the spirit so moves me. These considerations aside, this may be my new favorite diner. It is, as advertised, extremely tiny. The service is friendly and easygoing. The food, which is cooked right in front of you by one person, is amazing, and would probably kill you if you ate it too frequently: I watched the chef casually pour what looked like about a full pint of half and half into my sausage gravy. Everything is full-on, flavorful, and generous: corned beef hash made of real corned beef that you watch being chopped up to order, hash browns that are actually and deliciously seasoned, the waiter coming around with an metal pitcher full of iced coffee to top your drink off, rye toast grilled in a bunch of real butter. Go here for breakfast, bring cash, be patient, and plan on having a cup of gazpacho or something for dinner: you're not going to be hungry for a while."

"This place is small but amazing!!! You have a small menu, but all delicious basics. No chocolate chip pancakes, but the blueberries were perfect. Whatever is fun, you can observe how they cook your breakfast. They do it right in front of you and it was fun to watch as they make the pancakes and French toast."
