"Great idea for a restaurant, but with a terrible execution. Basic Greek food lends itself well to a fast-service assembly line style (visit any Greek festival for proof), which is why it's such a shame that the Simple Greek is simply ghastly. <br br/>The gyro meat is allegedly fresh cut off the rotisseries displayed in the back, but my sandwich was full of cold meat with no crispness at all. The pita itself was cold and borderline stale as it started to crack in the middle. The vegetables in the gyro are way too big so that they fall out of the sandwich and the tzatziki sauce has zero flavor. I can and do make a better gyros at home, so I just don't get how a restaurant screws it up. <br br/>The hummus is probably some of the worst I've ever tasted in a restaurant. It has a clay-like consistency and an extremely unfresh flavor. They also give you an absurdly small amount of it as a side for the salad, which is probably a good thing all things considered. <br br/>The dolmades (grape leaves) were also cold making me wonder if they serve anything hot at all. The leaves were undercooked and the meat inside was flavorless. <br br/>I couldn't even bring myself to order the cold spanakopita (spinach pie) that sits in a plastic case next to the cash register like the cookies do at Subway sandwiches. <br br/>I can't and wouldn't recommend this restaurant to anyone looking for good Greek food. I'm also very concerned that people who don't know any better might think that this is how Greek food tastes. It doesn't."

"I recently held a private birthday party at Chelo's East Providence. The staff and all there were so helpful and made an amazing job. Our servers were very friendly and went beyond and beyond. The food was great too. The event was so easy to plan. I managed everything by phone and email. The room looked great and offered a nice private location. I would recommend Chelo's to anyone who wants to plan a private event."

"Love the food here but the gem is the rotating beer selection. They bring in different beer for their tap and can offerings. The cocktails also do not disappoint! The only thing is when there is a show at comedy connections you will need a reservation toavoid the wait. Check it out and I?m sure it?ll be your new go to spot!"

"We just moved to the area and I had been wanting to try this place for a while. We went at 5pm on a Sunday and there were quite a few people there. We waited in line, and our food came out pretty quickly after we ordered. We had other people call ahead and their order was ready in 20 minutes. We got the lobster roll with dill mayo, footlong hotdog, clam cakes, and NE chowder. The lobster roll was delicious! Plenty of lobster and a nice roll. The hotdog was just average. The clam cakes were probably the highlight of the meal! Very soft and large! The chowder was pretty good as well. We will def be back to this location (but we will call ahead next time"
