"We were lucky to have been able to fly past our holiday home for our usual Christmas and New Year break before the Covid restrictions occurred! we often drove past nou vimpi before the bypass and tunnel were built, but we would never eat...there are, (wrong), that there was a burger bar because the name vimpi is a bit like wimpy (crazy i know, but this is just the way my mind works!) even when they pass, the large covered terrace out there is a bit difficult to get there. anyway, ferreries is a beautiful city, so we found ourselves there a late December evening and have read the reviews on ta we decided to try it. so glad we made it! when we went through the door, we were pleasantly surprised how big, bright and modern that was interieur. it was also immaculately clean and all the tables were assigned according to Covid guidelines, so we felt immediately comfortable. there was a hand-santizer placed around the spaces, all the workers wore masks and the loos were also immaculate! we sat fast, gave menus and our drinks orders were taken. all waiting staff were very helpful, efficient and welcoming. the menu consisted of a good selection of dressed and tapas as well as pizzas that we could see in the open kitchen at the far end of the bar and are cooked. After we've seen what other diners ate, we decided to share some tapas. patatas bravas that were simply the best we were on the island, a goat cheese and dry fruit salad; beautiful and fresh, chicken wings with a soy-dipping sauce that were amazing (all bones were removed so that they could be eaten quite that they did not forget that this type of love to detail), tempoura sweetheart with longustinella a bargain at around euro for both of us. the nou vimpi is obviously very popular, even in the deep of the winter there were people who were gastronomic all night and the pizza manufacturer was flat as they also offer delivery. we will definitely be back to enjoy the eating and ambiente of this place (so probably don't know when). down with vaccinations!"
