"Lunch (menu du jour) was very good soupe de poissons au basilic was exceptional and everything else was very good (and reasonably priced). The wine list is superb two sided sheet (one white rosé, the other reds) mostly regional and everything available by...the glass, pichet (25), carafe (50) or bottle and also all reasonably priced. The one sour note (bémol) was the service what there was was fine, but there was not enough of it! They really need to add a serveur to the team. Very convenient (about 10 seconds away) for the Musée Champollion."

"We visited this restaurant twice in a week because we loved the location: the domaine du surgié has a lake, enormous well maintained grass fields, shaded areas under trees. (there is also a public swimming pool. the restaurant has a great sitting area in the open with views of the lake and the green areas that are well shaded and absolutely perfect for these hot summer days. most foods were good, especially brochette de poisson and mixed meat grill. also the ice they serve is very good. some other foods could be improved as the confit de canard that was too dry and the profiterole. the long haired young male waiter was very friendly and helpful."

"Service normal, mieux vaut réserver et la place et les plats. On s'est régalé avec le Rfissa et Couscous agneau mais le Tanja de Marrakech était trop cuit et limite mangeable. Ils ont admis ne pas avoir surveillé la cuisson...par contre aucun geste commercial à ce propos pour finir, ce qui n'est pas correct du tout selon nous.Cuisine familiale de là-bas par la maman."
