"Overall I do like this place but there’s some things that drive me away. The main issue I have when I go here is that it always seems to smell… weird. Sort of like old water maybe? I tend to not stick around too long. The food is good and I love the little market. So far the vibe has been uninviting and it’s hard to find employees to help you. It’s nice that they have English classes though."

"Great mood, delicious food, delicious craft beer. The hotel is located in a large part of the city, parking lots are abundant. Just walk on the streets. Friendly and helpful staff. Prices were a great value for our family of five total with taxes and tip was $95 for dinner (1 drink). Also the toilets were clean always a good sign."

"Beautiful, quirky, eccentric decor. I loved looking at everything. I have the GF almond cake with chocolate chips and my hubs have the Spanish omelet. I only made half of my pancake; it was HUGE! I have the other half with me for lunch. Our waitress was great, and her coffee is hot and strong. This will definitely be a backstop when we are in Flagstaff."

"I'll go here every time for rolled tacos! My tacos are always hot and fresh with the right amount of guacamole, cheese and meat. Salsa and hot sauces are great. Jamaica was refreshing, and I recommend trying if you don't. I dropped inside for the first time and the place was clean. I didn't see any toilets."

"I just had breakfast here. I have eaten in many diners all over the country, and this is the best by far. Friendly, friendly service and everything on my plate was cooked for perfection. I wish I had this place near home!!"

"It had been a few years since we were in Zocalo, but it was as good as we remembered it to be. There were still some favorites on the menu, but also some new dishes, and they didn't disappoint. This is the only menu among many in Charlottesville that is really different and exciting. I had the duck breast cooked perfectly and accompanied by a great sauce, braised chard and an onion manchego bread pudding, and my wife loved her salmon. My starter, the tuna tartar, was too heavenly and had a healthy kick. Highly recommended!"
