"We celebrated another birthday there and everything was perfect. Savka, our server, is always top notch. And every employee in the chop house was very attentive and always smiling. GREAT EXPERIENCE"

"I don’t eat much from here, but from all the mcdonald’s, of which I tried, this is the best. Burgers are well done. Fries are hot and have just enough salt. idk bout these others, but this on the 5th is always good. the only thing I could complain about is the long wait to order food in the car thru. but my money is well spent for food. for so many people badly talking to Gary, at least we have good food, so keep it up."

"*Edit* 8/15/19 I don't like that the prices change from day to day. A couple of days ago I ordered a large fry w/extra sauce and it was 2.68, yet today the same exact thing was 2.94. I've dropped my rating from a 5 to a 3 for this reason. Beware it's cash only. I just tried for the first time last night. That mini tip was affordable, tender, and delicious! Will certainly return soon for a larger version or the same depending on my budget."

"Great Lakes Cafe is a charming restaurant decorated in a 70s and fishing motif. It is tucked into an area once dominated by the Gary steel mills. Be sure to follow your map app carefully to get there. The restaurant offers breakfast and lunch. I ordered the Trucker's burger. It was an amazing half pound paddy full of flavor. It was the best of the three burgers I've eaten in the last two weeks. The meat was well cooked and tasted fresh. The fries served with the burger were coated, flavorful, and crispy. A bowl of soup also comes with the meal. This $10 meal far surpassed the $14 burgers I've eaten resently. To top things off, service was engaging and excellent."

"Great little dive bar, all locals. But everyone was very friendly. We went on football Sunday when the bears were playing so it was packed! Food and drinks were all very fast and very good. Best part, PRICING! Lunch, apps, drinks, under 35$ for 2 You can’t beat that anywhere anymore! Price per person: $10–20 Food: 4 Service: 4 Atmosphere: 5"

"Jim’s is a bit out of the way, especially for tourists without a car, but this ~80-year old street food destination is a Chicago foodie institution. If needed, the Chicago Transit Authority’s #8 Bus (Halsted) lets you off a block from the Sandwich Shop. I decided to visit Jim’s (based on the “Somebody Feed Phil” recommendation) and enjoyed my taste of the local cuisine. I tried the all-beef Polish hot dog with cheese fries. There wasn’t much of a line when I was there, the prices were decent, and the service was quick. Be warned, the accompanying hot pepper is extra spicy!"
