"Goudargues is a picture perfect village with the tree shaded stream running down its centre having inviting looking restaurants set on either side. But on the two visits we have made in the last two years we have declined this invitation and walked downstream and...turned right, where you will find Chez Marianne also attractively situated by the water. And you’ll find a very good value lunch too. We went for the lunchtime “formule”. We enjoyed a nice minute steak and the cafe gourmand that followed was exceptional with several mini desserts of very high quality. The young crew that run the place were very personable and all in all it was a very pleasantly passed hour or so."

"Very good service and the meal was great except for the calamari, this had a heavy batter which wasn't good. My escargot were excellent as was my husbands veal. Situated right next to the canal with lovely large plane trees overhead."

"The restaurant is very well decorated and the chef prepares original and delicious dishes. I ate a traditional Indian Rogan Josh, and the map is very diverse, from Burger to St. James' walnuts. I recommend."

"Fête au village et en quête d'un resto. Deux tables de libre...On s'arrête donc par hasard.Sommes satisfaits. Bon accueil, personnel souriant et cuisine goûteuse.On conseille le tartare et la glace à la lavande qui accompagne le crumble. Ce n 'est pas le meilleur crumble mais l 'association est intėressante!.Menus enfants copieux.Belle dėcouverte!"

"Amazing lunch menu: three courses, wein and coffee for 13 euro. goudargues is a great location and the cafe of the sources is located next to the place where they keep the fair. they serve simple meals, made in their kitchen. there is no...choice for the cheap lunch menu, but this would only be difficult for a vegetarian, as is the case with most French restaurants! do not expect gourmet food, but in any other look it is very good for the price. service is very pleasant and efficient. best visited when the sun seems."
