"Solid brew pub, with fun cocktails and a a relaxed atmosphere. The fries were especially good, and the pulled pork was tasty. Dropped one star because the beer list was pretty shallow, and the bottle list in particular had nothing of note at all."

"Very nice and kitschiger place in guilford! we drove all the way here on one of the last warm nights in connecticut and sat on thick wooden trunks while the grills are baptized with fresh seafood. we shared their house special mushes, maize and muddle. the mais on the cob is a must."

"Second time having dinner at Guilford Bistro and it was delicious!! Discovered it after dropping my son off at Univ of New Haven and I will say this...this will be our dinner spot for the next 3 years anyway!! Pasta and seafood dishes are authentic, fresh and incredible flavor! Service is wonderful and the atmosphere is quaint and decor is warm! Keep up the good work Guilford Bistro!! See U soon!"

"My parents and I tried to eat at this restaurant last evening. Not too many cars in the parking lot, but I thought it was on account of the time. We were there before the dinner rush. We had eaten at this particular Bob Evans before and had good experiences. It had been awhile, but because of our previous experiences thought we 'd go back. I 'm not sure what has happened, but we stepped inside. The hostess took us to a table by the windows, and we waited. We looked over our menus and made our selections. We waited for a waitress ... and waited ... for anybody ... waited about 10 to 15 minutes. Nobody seemed to notice us. All other patrons were seated at booths on the inside of the restaurant. Maybe nobody was assigned to our table. We noticed that the Cracker Barrel across the street was not too busy, so we simply got up and left. First time I think we ever left a restaurant under such circumstances. They did not seem overly busy. Gathering from what others have said in their own reviews, it looks like we are not the first to be disappointed by this establishment."

"Not sure why some people call this place a dive. I think they use the term too loosely because they haven't been to an actual dive. You usually don't see dive bars in areas where the houses across the street sell for over 700k. I found the CountryTavern to be charming with a clean, well kept interior that is comfortable and relaxing and their menu offers up some reallygood down to earth and delicious comfort food. I just had my 2nd meal there so I wanted to give them my thanks. Their burgersare among the best I've had... period. I really like their hot wings as well and french fries are great. They had a reallygood mix of clientele both nights we were there. It was a festive party atmosphere with good food and good service. Not a badplace to be on a Saturday night."
