"For a party of two we were seated immediately. We were here just for starters and desserts. Ordered two vegetarian starters, falafel and cauliflower croquettes. Falafel was a little under cooked and croquettes were average. For dessert we had some kind of raspberry chocolate creme brûlée and this was AMAZING. Ambiance was nice and even though the place was quite crowded, the service was quite fast."

"The only problem with this place is that it's not near me. I would probably be here every weekend if it was. I got the braised pork shank and it was absolutely amazing. I'm no German food aficionado, but it was easily some of the best I've ever had. Jenna was awesome, the service was awesome and she was knowledgeable about the beer. I will absolutely be back."

"No one noticed us when we came to the restaurant to sit down, even though they walk around. we missed our own menus and cutlery. Finally ordered and 30 minutes later for a bowl with chicken dumplings and a club sandwich we had not yet received our order. Finally they saw the food on the counter, but 10 minutes later they were sitting there until I brought it later. the whole time the mgr sat in a stand 10 ft of us wondered why we got up to go. there were at least 5 waitresses, but no one else took care of and maybe there were 4 tables in the entire restaurant next to us. we don't know!"

"Pros Views of the lake are amazing and the outdoor seating is stunning. Cons Price: pretty expensive but this is also expected at a fairmont restaurant. Service: started very slow. Had to wait 20 minutes for drinks and water. After brining a manager into it, they got much better. Food: just ok. Wasn't bad, just wasn't amazing. Other reviews talked about how delicious it was, so maybe this was just an isolated experience."
