"Two bad reviews amongst a bunch of good ones wasn't enough to deter us from visiting this evening and I'm so glad we went! I agree that this place is a hidden gem in the countryside because I definitely didn't expect a standard of food that rivals the mainstream chain smokehouse restaurants. 4 corndogs for starters, half rack of ribs to share, sloppy Joe w/ skin on fries, gringo burger w/ skin on fries and chicken wings, two 7UP Free bottles, unlimited refill coffee.... All for under £40! It all tasted amazing but the ribs were the star, I think. They were so tender they fell apart! We'll definitely be back but will order less sides so we have room for the £3.95 desserts! I'll see you next time, buttermilk pancake stack!"

"Improve to excellence a couple for a 'celebration food' we tried wildwood without booking; we had luck. soon sat on a window table, drinks and menus arrived pronto. our waiting staff was not helpful. we shared an Arancini star, had specials for the net, and split a chocolate brew for the succession. it was all fabulous, drinks included. it was a big drop experience."

"I visited with my son on a Sunday afternoon and the food was superb plenty of it. It was so good that my wife got tired of me raving about it insisted I take her there the very next day. I obliged because I am a generous selfless man! Again it was amazing. Our waitress was so friendly helpful made our visit even more enjoyable. Soft drinks are bottomless from the newfangled machines that pump out every conceivable kind of soda. I grew up in North America I have eaten entire herds full of hamburgers chilli. I can honestly say that I have never had better of either than at Meatshed. Just go, it's incredible. I'm going there again today for Fathers Day. Love it!"
