"First time here, it was the best establishment I have been to in a while. The employees were busy yet caring getting food out in handfuls. I got the Storm's special, which has three patties, veggies and an option of double cheese for 9.99. It came out HOT the burger did not disappoint, it was the best burger I have had by far. I will definitely be coming back here!"

"Eve’s, I’d been there one time before and it was good, and I was very much looking forward to eating there again, on this day. So, while walking around at the, Corvettes on the Square, event this Saturday, in Lampasas, I decided to put my name in, for me and the 5 others that were there with me. So, I walk on over to Eve’s, and as I’m pulling on the door, some guy in a T-shirt decides to push the door closed. So, I pull again, and he again pushes the door. So I say to this guy, “I’m just trying to get in, to put my name on the list”, and he says, “I’m the guy”, in a nasty tone. Turns out, he’s the owner. WOW, what a jerk, I’m thinking. So, because I’m wearing a shirt that had some fireman stuff on it, he decides to call me, “Fire Chief”, and that I’m on the list for a table for 6, as, “Fire Chief”. So, with no list, and at the time, it was a 1.5 hour wait, this guy thinks he’s going to keep track of where I am on the, “list”, and how many people are with me, along with everyone else on the, “list”. So, I leave to look at more Vettes. After looking at Vettes for an hour or so, my buddy goes to see where, “Fire Chief”, is on the list, and Mr. Eve’s owner, says, “Still an hour and a half”. So, just what I figured, this guy is a total jerk. I decide I'm not eating there today, and I’m never eating there again. I believe in principle, and one thing I don’t do, is give my money to jerks, whose businesses are so successful, they think they can treat people any way they want to. So, Mr. Eve’s owner, you lost out on 6 people eating there, and me and my family, for a lifetime. I was told later, that the guy was probably already hitting the sauce, if you know what I mean. That would make sense, because he was acting like a belligerent beephole. Seriously, what kind of a person pushes on a door that another guy is trying to open?"

"My wife and I stayed here on a Sunday at noon. We ate when we stayed in the car at the entrance of the restaurant... There is also a seat. See picture. We ordered hamburgers and pommes with a drink. Staff were busy, but the service was acceptable prompt, and things are very favorable. I had the Storms Special Burger without Cheese containing Pommes. My wife had a burger and spicy curly pommes. We'll share a coke. My burger was delicious, quite large, with fresh spices and served hot. My French fries were also delicious. The burger of my wife was tasty and also the spicy curly pommes. Totally before tip was $17 and changed. There's a rest room. Overall, we have enjoyed and recommended the experience of an old fashion drive in mealtime at reasonable prices. Many sweet treats such as root berry flakes etc. etc. are available for your enjoyment when you are inclined."
