"My family and I went to chatterbox at the beginning of September. New owners purchased chatterbox, covered bridge and popcorn store. Service is slower now than in the past…….and it was definitely slow in the past accompanied by rude staff. We ordered the hummus plate and when it was brought to our table we noticed a piece of celery had hair on it. The server was not fazed and said he would bring out a fresh hummus plate. New owners have raised prices and the food is not as good as it was with the previous owners and management. The servers are still rude and lazy and now yell at customers. We used to go there often with previous ownership but after our last visit we will never go back. As a resident in the community who spends a lot of time in town, I hope that these establishments will be sold again to a competent owner who starts from ground up including hiring a new staff. P.S. NOT a kid friendly establishment as they attempt to advertise. I would say they actually discriminate against kids."

"We love this place. The food is great and the staff couldn't be better. I was amazed at how good the prime rib was and I'm picky about my prime rib! Tacos are my other favorite. We really enjoyed the Saturday night music, too. Definitely a place to try."

"Great family bar and restaurant. Been here twice now and the food is really outstanding. The deep dish pizza is downtown chicago good and everything else I have tried have been spot on, especially the pasta Alfredo. Atmosphere is perfect for casual dining, add to that great music played through a good system and just the right amount of TVs for sports. These guys nailed it for this area."
