"Went for works xmas do on 08.12. Excellent food. Really good function that held 100+ people. Really friendly bar staff. Helen was brilliant. Really friendly and sharp service. Everything was really well organised. Drinks reasonably priced. Everyone had a fantastic night! Highly recommend"

"This was a well presented and lovely place to have a meal. There was a good selection of foods on offer. As well as plenty of different drinks, both alcoholic and non-alcoholic. I had the gallery burger and the gallery pilsner to wash it down with. Both were very nice and went down very well. The staff were very nice and polite."

"Good value at £10 on the basis that if you wanted to you can pile your plate high not that we did although we did see other diners with some 4+ inch high plates! Basically , the meat was poor quality, all the vegetables were well overcooked, even though we arrived in a Sunday at 12.30pm /1pm and the flavour missingSorry, Great location but that’s about it"

"Dropped in on a Wednesday Lunchtime to find all tables full of people eating. The staff were friendly which led us to decide to stay for Lunch when a table became free. It was a cold frosty day and the crackling real fire and good beer it was a lovely way to while away an hour or so. The Steak and Kidney Pie had a lovely crust and generous filling that came with a good selection of veg. The Loaded fries with a side of chilli served with sour cream was amazing. James and Holly were so friendly. A great experience indeed. We will be back……"

"First visit since before lockdown and so pleased this delightful tearoom and cafe survived!Visited for lunch and order taken within a minute or so after finding a table. All food here is cooked to order but was served very quickly, piping hot, plentiful and tasted lovely. We had meat and vegetable pasty and quiche. Sadly, no room left for dessert!Staff are lovely, welcoming and all COVID precautions adhered to. Short term car park away or restricted on street parking. Will be back soon."
