"I had wanted to stop at Restaurant Bar 51 for a long time to taste poutine and then I loved the presentation of it, La Restaurant 51 , very generous but the freshness and taste were really not there, insufficient cheese and old or frozen which stretches like mozzarella, overcooked fries, let 's say that the food was not the best even the seafood pizza was undercooked but the service was impeccable, an attentive, present and very pleasant waitress."

"We stopped in Montmagmy on our drive from Toronto to the Maritimes. Our hotel recommended a couple of more expensive choices but we went for a walk and found this place. It has a lovely patio and great service. It seems to be popular with the locals. The food was good. Loved the frites and grilled veggies that came with my steak. The day we were there they had a pasta special which was popular with everyone around us on the patio."

"It isn't fine dining or high priced food but when it's been around since the 50s and still popular you know it's got to be good. We only needed diner fare so we settled on burgers, fries, onion rings and they were just great. It is a very popular restaurant filled with the over 40s crowd, generally having dinner early. The atmosphere is all about good service. It's generally quiet and quaint. It's definitely worth it and not expensive either. The wait staff ... young, pleasant and bilingual."

"Not being very good at French speaking or understanding, the staff speak some English which helped. I can only speak from my meal which was the smoked meat club but it was amazing. Everyone said the food was awesome and no one left food on...their plate. Daughters had the personal pizza and poutine which were very good they said. My mom had the chicken stir fry and my wife had the chicken wrap. No complaints and a plus being attached to our hotel. I wish I had a picture but we didn’t have time because we ate it all up!"

"Just happened along, as we were hungry, came along to off highway. Very friendly staff member who served us cordially in English, once discover we had little French language skills. Very large generous amount of food. Very well presented."
