"If I could give this zero stars I would. Breakfast was very bland, sausage tasted like it was reheated from prepackaged, eggs were dry, pancake seemed like just a pancake mix, and the “pan fried” potatoes were probably just microwaved. Restaurant was far from clean, the sticky floors and horror show fridge/storage room when we walked in should’ve been the sign for us to turn around and leave. Coffee was underwhelming but the toast was decent."

"I can tell that a lot of people writing reviews here are too used to the double-fried, frozen abominations served at most restaurants. These fries are fresh cut. They are lightly fried, so are not crunchy. Please... enjoy them for what they are... REAL FOOD....On our visit, our service was a little slow, but to be fair, they were completely slammed at peak dinner hour on a holiday weekend."

"Located just off of route 2 in Mount Steward, Krisitie's turned out to be a great find for us. We have been coming to PEI since 1998. We love PEI but it is very difficult to find good food in a decent restaurant at a fair price. Just about all the restaurants we have found like this in previous years have either burned down (3) or closed (many). Thus, we were so happy to find Kristie's on our way back from East Point.Krisitie's is a somewhat small, well maintained, and nicely furnished place. Even the restrooms were in great shape. The food was good home cooking (except for the canned peas). My husband said his fried fish and mashed potatoes were delicious. He was very pleased that they allowed him to substitute for the cole slaw lettuce, tomato, and cucumber. I was happy with my caesar salad and western sandwich. Our waitress, who was very pleasant and efficient, told us hat Krisitie's is open year round but has reduced hours in winter. They had a daily special for $9.99 -- hot hamburg sandwich with potatoes, cole slaw, dessert, and coffee. Give Kristie's a try if you are looking for a good meal where the locals go."
