"I ordered my mum and dad some tea off my own back, meat feast pizza and a chicken kebab, I ordered at 7.45 my food did not arrive at my house until 9.30... I emailed them for them to say at 8 it will be half hour, I then waited 45 mins for them to email me back saying they are running late it’s on its way, another half hour passed and still no food? I rang and asked where my order was for the lady to say it’s on its way, which I then said I ordered at 7.45 and got told it’ll be half hour for her then to be rude and say ok thanks. If that’s not rude customer service then I don’t know what is anyway my food finally arrived to find out I had to pay an extra £2.40 for a pot of garlic sauce and BBQ sauce, what a joke that was, I asked the delivery driver how come it’s so late he replied we very busy. Which in that case we got our food sat down to find out the meat feast pizza had peppers on. 2 spicey chips instead of one spicey chips, no free garlic bread, so I rang up and there response was ‘we can drop some chips off on the next delivery around that area.. and the free garlic bread we had to request... does not state that at all, the girl also spoke to someone and obviously didn’t mute me on the phone because I heard all the conversation me and my family are very very Disappointed and will not be using you again.."

"Good mcdonald’s. this mcdonald’s is quite good, the waiting times are never too long and the staff is friendly. the location of the mcdonald’s is very comfortable near both a tank and a supermarket. the prices seem more expensive than loading in the grimsby town center, but not much. eating tastes as they would expect from every mcdonald."

"I usually enjoy a visit to Marples with the pleasant atmosphere and friendly waitresses but today I had an unusual experience. The waitress who greeted us couldn’t even muster a smile as she showed us to our table. Then after a five second glance at the menu and the specials board she tried to take our order a little impatient if you ask me. We ordered our meals and drinks and we tucked in after having to collect the chips off the table that the waitress had knocked over. Disappointingly, a chainsaw was needed to cut through the extremely dry over microwaved lasagne. Not wanting to make a scene, I held off getting up to complain and anticipated that a waitress would come and ask if everything was okay, like the normal service that you’d expect in a cafe or restaurant but sadly to no avail. We got up to pay the bill shortly after and when the waitress at the till finally asked if everything was okay with our food our honest answer wasn’t to her liking. We explained that the lasagne was a little bit dry and asked if she could let the chef know. Imagine our horror when no apology was given and instead the person you’re giving your money to just pulls a face and tells you the total for your bill. An apology costs nothing and such a shame that the standards in food and customer service has slipped."

"Outstanding freshness, quality, service and a great price. Ordered 2 small fish, 1 chips, 1 curry and scraps. The fish were a good size. Really fresh.. and cooked to order.. perfection. Non greasy and extremely tasty. Light, crispy batter encapsulated the white, flaky fish. The chips.. enough for two.. were really good. Hot, soft and the potato quality spot on. The curry suace.. hot temperature.. traditional green/yellow and nice and thick. Very tasty. The scraps.. huge bag.. dead crunchy.. and actually not greasy! Despite being what they are! Recently award 5 star hygiene again... and no wonder... brilliant family team. Service brilliant as usual from the cheerful, polite owner. A credit to New Waltham."
