"I love the fried chicken, especially their sweet and hot sauce. The taste is a combination of KFC and Korean fried chicken (also 'KFC ' , more moist than KFC and less sweet than their Korean counterpart. The batter is not thick and the chicken is fresh and tender. However I have to point out, the fried chicken is at the pricier end. I usually order 5 piece chicken or 3 piece chicken with brussel sprouts, and end up paying over $20."

"We went there for the first time for Sunday brunch. The food was delicious. My husband enjoyed their Mediterranean breakfast so much that he wants to go back again next Sunday! Also, their coffee is pretty darn good too."

"I bought chicken 8pcs for take out and find out at home chicken was not freshly made obviously a left over chicken as it was not juicy and the meat inside was so hard and garbage! chicken looks it was a double fried already as the skin is darker than usual. Kindly don’t serve left over chicken that you just gonna reheat and re fried again its so frustrating!!!!!"

"Excellent, informative and considerate service from Rachel at the bar. Joey’s creamy mushroom soup is the best we’ve ever tasted (actually had large mushroom pieces in it); the garden salads were fresh and crispy; and the garlic wedges were surprisingly better than we thought they’d be. Sure, $140 with a 20% tip, but worth every cent. Thanks Rachel for the great service!"

"If i could give zero stars i would.My family and i came today to get some food after shopping. We heard from friends that the food is good.However, when we got the fries, it was greasy, there was crumbs of hard old fries in the little box and it wasn’t even full. We politely asked if we could get another one, to compensate. The man then took and dumped our fries out on dirty counter , and yelled at us “where is it greasy?!!” then ended up taking the fries and said we weren’t going to get anything. Obviously we asked to get a refund because if they aren’t going to give us food WE PAID FOR..how is that fair? The guy didn’t even give us the money back.. not professional at all. Do not recommend, save your money and go to the grocery and get fries for cheaper and better quality !Definitely Reporting to the City!!!"

"First time visiting today, I have never visited a restaurant that makes you feel like home like High Street Fish Chips. Sharon and the staff were so welcoming. Paul and the kitchen staff provided a SUPERB haddock (I understand why they call it the Superb Haddock Fillet now). First time, definitely not my last and I was treated like I was a regular. Thank you High Street Fish Chips for a wonderful lunch today."

"This place is always busy especially after a night out. There is always a lineup so be prepared to wait a bit before being seated. The service was great despite being so busy; their turnover rate is good so you’re not waiting too long. They had a new avocado sandwich special which I decided to try. The sandwich itself was good, although I was a bit disappointed with the veggies it was served with. Just a slice of cucumber and carrot with ranch sauce. Also wish they gave a little saucer with my tea so I can take the bag out so it’s not steeping for too long."

"This is actually a 4.5*. Excellent place for a cozy and relaxing dinner. Had their signature lamb burger and pint of organic beer. Lamb burger was simply superb, on Wednesdays they have all burgers for 11$. Overall a nice place to have fun with friends and a good meal."
