"I and my friend got the same, the chicken friend chicken breakfast: it was a ton of food, only cost of $10 and some change and it was delicious. My friend likes his eggs a very specific style and gave them a complicated order and she did it right. I only had protein and nothing to complain at all. It is a local good food, inexpensive joint. It looks like a whole in the wall, but like most holes in the walls, if you actually get the courage to go into you will be very pleasantly surprised. I will definitely be back and recommend trying at least once. It's a classic old school café, but it's very good."

"1st timer here. Check your food before you leave. Based on the sign they have at the cash register. Catfish poboy was good. I got tarter po boy sauce cocktail. They were all good. It's real catfish not that white fish trick some pull by giving you swai instead. The corn meal batter was well seasoned. They give you little catfish pieces not really nuggets but also not fillets This was different as I expected 1 whole fillet but it's fine. Their fries were ok. Had been sitting because this was a pick up order. Probably better fresh out the grease not sitting in styrofoam getting soggy. My mother got the Vans pasta (chicken shrimp sausage in alfredo sauce) which I didn't see listed on the menu. I called in asking about the available pasta options and this one wasn't mentioned to me at all. We ended up ordering it soley based on a picture of it here on google maps it looks nothing like what we saw. This was a plain looking alfredo white sauce sorta thing vs the pic in google maps shows a more red tinted sauce over fettuccine noodles. It tasted good to me but mom was disappointed. The red beans (got without rice) we were warned are soupy not thick clumpy. They are soupy. My mom was ok with the soupy but she didn't like their flavor. I thought they were delicious however i usually don't care for most places red beans. I can't even think of how to describe the flavor though. I will definitely be back here. Oh also don't go by prices listed on here. Seems theyre old. I tried calling back to confirm but reached voicemail that wasn't set up. My poboy fries was $10.81With tax not $7.49 as listed here and their website says $8.99 so prices have gone up. I think $10 for poboy and fries no drink is a bit much but almost every restaurant /retail shop has unfortunately raosed prices after the insane year known as 2020."

"The best little hidden gem of a restaurant in Pantego. I?ve visited twice and the food was excellent each time. Honestly one of the best meals I?ve had since moving to the DFW area. The Lamb Kozi is so good, the flavors, the textures are great. The lambfalls off the bone using a spoon. The hummus is smooth and light. Falafels are always a risk because when they are right theyare delightful, but when they are wrong, they are terrible. Fattoush falafel were pretty much perfect! A good size, crisp andlight exterior and soft middle with perfect seasoning. The sesame seeds on the outside added a lovely savoury flavor. The friedcauliflower is also crisp and light tasting. The grape leaves were ok as they are a bit on the small side but still tasted nice.I wish the baba ganoush was dairy free so I could eat it! Don?t hesitate to go, I?m already wondering what I should try forfuture visit."

"Favorite boiled crawfish place!! The flavor is NEVER a miss!! They have a special where it’s buy 5Lb get 1Lb free which I always do! Also got 1Lb if shrimp with head on, potatoes sausage!! (Cajun corner mix, med spice level) First time trying crab cakes…they weren’t bad just not for me. Seafood is market price. It’s also BYOB!Food: 5/5"
