"Having both been to this restaurant before my friend arranged a meal there for my birthday on a Sunday lunchtime. There was adults and children. We had a lovely table outside so overlooking the river. We all chose from the menu of the...day which was good, having two choices for each course. the food was great. Big portions and cooked to a turn. The only problem we had was that one member of our group did not want sauce with her steak. She did say this when ordering and was told this was not a problem as the sauce came in a jug on the side. However when her steak arrived the sauce had been served over. She pointed this out and was told, pretty well by the waiter, too bad. Although this was not a major problem as she scrapped it of, it was not good enough given what they had said beforehand re the sauce. However the food was very good and the steaks cooked very well and as they should be. As it was my birthday treat I had a great time. This is a good restaurant in a lovely setting and I would not hesitate to go back again for the third time."
