"I have been a fan of Original Joes for many years, but I do like a consistent menu. In Red Deer I loved the Pasta Carbonara...and then it was off the menu. In Airdrie I fell in love with the Butter Chicken....and then it started to evolve. From a flat bowl with rice and a generous portion of Naan to yesterday's tall bowl with brown rice and 3 small triangular portions of Naan. Seriously?? Brown Rice?? The ratio of Butter Chicken to Rice became all wrong. Although it looked appealing, it soon became a BIG bowl of rice with a some Butter Chicken. The rice was VERY chewy. I love the trendy atmosphere, the service is great, but as stated earlier, I love a consistent menu.The evolving menu meant I didn't get what I really wanted, so I probably won't be back."

"Fantastic! Best burger I’ve had in/around Calgary. Juicy, but not greasy. Fresh ingredients. Perfect bun to burger ratio. Buns were fresh. So good! I’d pass on the fries next time because they weren’t crispy like I like but the onion rings were good! Totally worth the drive from Calgary!"

"We come here every so often and the staff is always amazing.I ordered a steak with blue cheese and was extremely disappointed. They kindof throw rock solid blue cheese cubes into a side cup instead of cooking it with the steak like anywhere else would. For the $5 extra you pay for it you 'd expect at the very least they wouldn 't just put some in a ketchup dipping cup on the side. The server explained they do this for aesthetic purposes, which of course isn 't his call but whoever thought that was a good idea needs to realize it 's a total fail.On top of that the steak itself (which was burried under the sides, again for aesthetic purposes was absolutely terrible. Dry, stone cold, and flavourless. The only saving grace was the mashed potato. Rest was probably the worst I 've ever had in Alberta. Highly suggest you avoid all their steaks.Kai, our server, was very understanding about it and replaced the whole dish with chili chicken. His service was amazing and he was very pleasant. 5 stars for him! The rest of the food was great."
