"I had the vegetarian skillet and my husband had the pulled pork skillet. Both were delicious! That pesto hollandaise is amazing! Great service and good home cooking. A winning combination in my opinion. We'll be back again and again."

"Interesting pub with good food and good service. Many regulars which seem to focus on automated gambling. Would be nicer if this was separated more. Pub is freezing when cold out Parking specified for motorcycles is always full of regulars cars."

"I have been coming to the Prairie Inn occasionally for many years and I have never had a bad meal, although it can get busy and on those nights the wait times for your meal to arrive may be longer. My most recent visit was a Monday night at about 5:30, which was the perfect time to come as we had our choice of tables in any room and service was fast. There are daily drink and food specials. On the night I was there, they offered 2 types of draft beer discounted by 50 cents (no big deal). There is a fairly good choice of draft beer, but no unusual offerings. For the meal, my friend and I each ordered the one-piece cod with chips and cole slaw, a reliable favourite of mine. No need to go for the more expensive halibut, as the cod is delicious and the one piece was very generous. The cole slaw is one of the best I have tasted. My son's favourite is the Belly Buster - an enormous hamburger that will challenge the biggest of appetites to finish.I love the atmosphere of this pub. Each room has a different feel and there is also a partially open patio, protected from the wind if you prefer a less pubby more open atmosphere. Try the back room if you just want a drink and a genuine small town down-to earth games room old-fashioned bar. The Prairie Inn is casual and unpretentious and some might describe the decor as dated, but I hope it stays that way."
