"What can I say about this burger? It’s amazing, tender, delicious! I can go on! Price is decent, $14 for a buck burger, onion rings and a drink. On the burger comes these pickled peppers which are amazing, I’ve eaten a lot of burgers in Montreal and it seems that dillalo is one of the few spots I always return to. It’s been around since 1929 and still killing it, give this place a try!"

"En fait j aime cette adresse c est que on peut choisir et voir son poisson .OH DELICE on vous le prepare pas de mauvaise odeur a la maison et on le mange immédiatement pour les affames on peut le manger sur place et les serveurs sont tres gentils .le riz est tres bons aussi c est un endroit pour du poisson tres frais . "I just had lunch there with my 2 daughters, and unfortunately the food wasn 't very good. I had a submarine that was edible and my daughters both had the tortellini rose that was probably the worst that I have ever tasted (undercooked and a very bad rose sauce) I asked to speak with the manager but the waitress couldn 't find him . They didn 't give me a chance to speak to someone about it. My kids barely touched their food and they charged us the full price, which is fine because I will simply never go back there. It 's unfortunate but it happens. On a positive note, they never have to worry about someone trying to steal their recipe for Tortellini Rose!"

"I rarely review restaurants I visit only once, but on this trip to Montreal I was fortunate to go outside the commonly visited areas of Montreal (across the river where Montrealers tell me they never go) to Cru. First rate food. The octopus was wonderful and complemented beautifully by the whipped cream leavened mix of pureed potato and leek a thicker but lighter (I know this sounds like an oxymoron) vichychoisse. Veal cheeks where the meat melts in the mouth. The waiter chose perfect wine by glass accompaniments, especially the Italian chardonnay for the octopus and the oysters, which preceded the octopus. Dessert of chocolate mousse cake was sinful, especially the accompanying small cubes of chocolate covered hazelnut wafers. Service was unhurried without feeling that it took too long between courses. We enjoyed the setting, food, and service so much we split a glass of Calvados just to prolong out dinner."
