"We came from the road, 6 of us, have decided to eat for Easter Sunday. service was great, personal, with charm, and eating was excellent - four of us had the pork pea (raw meat on a hot plate cooked on the table,) it. was delicious. we had a bottle of vin de savoie pinot that was perfect. the icy deserts were worth it, and the free 'hot' ended the meal. highly recommended."

"This is an upscale restaourant right on the Caron pedestrian and skiers street. Being there for a birthday celebration, we had a fondue for three as well as a beef pierrade. The fondue, made from smoked chees was to die for. The beef fpr the...pierrade was excellent, tender and tasty. The cooking contraptions were working flawlessly. Service was quick and very professional."

"En lisant les avis je suis un peu surpris car lors de notre passage c'était bien. Mais il faut dire aussi que nous y sommes passés au tout début décembre et que ce n'était vraiment pas l'affluence. Je n'ai rien à dire sur la qualité de la nourriture. Tout m'a paru frais. Mais en regardant le plat du jour de mes voisins, je n'ai pas été très emballé. Ça m'avait l'air d'être du plat tout droit sorti de chez Davigel. Le service est agréable mais sans plus. Je n'ose pas imaginer en période de forte fréquentation. Le strict minimum pour ce restaurant pourtant bien placé. Il est fort possible que je n'y retourne pas."

"Very nice menu, the plat du jour was well prepared and tasty. The menu is very nice but this is too expensive for a Lunch _ Menu du Jour 25Euros (ok), most of the other dished were over 30.Their entry wine is expensive and turned our bill to become the highest of our 7 lunches in the week."

"Booked for valentines special dinner as we were staying at the hotel no effort made to transform this to a 'romantic setting ', food not as described on menu, portions incredibly tiny and almost a joke! all could have been prepared in advance and...not anywhere near the quality of a Michelin restaurant severely overpriced. Waiter tried to upswell wine with no reason given except 'that cheaper one is poor ', part way through the meal we felt we had had enough and left, refusing to pay for what was obviously a total money spinner for the hotel and the 13 people that booked!"

"On our last day out of six in les 3 valleys we passed up all of the pizza and standard fare at the bottom of the hill in Val Thorens and found our way up to the Chalet Des 2 Ours. Needless to say my wife was approaching insane hangrey levels so we were eating at this one regardless. Low and behold I had actually made the right decision on this one!We were welcomed at the door by David who was playing both host and waiter and though it was still right at the end of the lunch rush he found us a spot at the end of a table ( which is great with all the associated ski gear ). The plat du jour was rabbit in mustard sauce with crozets in cheese. This I ordered without even looking at the menu and my wife seizing on my enthusiasm joined me. David took our order and no sooner had he left than the table next to us had a big plate of thick fries arrive so we pretty much had to order those as well. As expected the fries were as good as they looked and to boot there was an English waitress who noticed we ( who were speaking English to each other) had no ketchup. Bam, is 6 enough? Barely but thank you.When the rabbit came it was fantastic. I had been eating game through my whole trip ( duck, rabbit, venison) and this was tops, nothing fancy, just really well done. Rabbit seems easy if cooked off the bone but sometimes less than ideal when cooked bone in but this was great! The other half of this rather large, dare I say American, sized meal was crozets with cheese. While staying in the area we had tried this as a side several times and it had been alright but I'd say this was the one time we really enjoyed it. All in all this was easily the best meal we had while in 3 valleys and the service was fast and prompt. From door to door in under an hour which is perfect when trying to get in as many runs as possible! The kicker was that it was also the 2nd least expensive which was a bonus! Thanks so much all of you, a great way to cap our trip to 3 valleys!"
