"We really enjoyed our visit to Chez Nath. The restaurant is small and busy so essential to book in advance. We booked because the menu had a great choice between traditional Savoyard cuisine and Wood fired Pizza. We went with another family and had a cosy table for eight and the service was impeccable. We chose to have our children’s favourite Alpine meal ‘Pierre Chaud’ which is cooking a variety of meats yourself (chicken beef) on a hot platter or ‘stone’. All eight of us had it and enjoyed immensely. I’ve seen some reviews talking about poor service and rude staff but we genuinely didn’t see that. They key in my opinion is language, you must speak at least a smattering of French because the staff speak little or no English, fair enough we’re in France. Loved it, will go back and try the Pizza!"

"Nice small restaurant along the main road. Friendly staff and good local specialities. We visited in the summer while the Tour de France passed the town. I'm sure this is a good place in the winter as well."

"L'accueil est convivial, les serveurs et serveuses souriants, le service est rapide malgré une terrasse bondée. La patronne est d'une gentillesse incroyable. Elle reconnaît les clients qu'elle a déjà vu et à toujours un petit mot ou une petite attention pour eux. Les hamburgers et les escalopes à la savoyarde sont excellents. Les crêpes au Nutella aussi! Et surtout les prix sont raisonnables. Merci pour les digestifs offert à la fin du repas et pour votre bonne humeur!"

"We went there a month of November, out of season, for lack of better but we did not regret. Delicious burgers, copious plate-plates; I loved the burger at the truffled brie. Very noisy place."

"After the iconic climb by bike from the Romanche valley, what better way to celebrate than at this unpretentious, modest, but honest little cafe! Top quality snacks for the weary biker, without the usual rip-off you associate with being 'captive ' on top of a mountain. We enjoyed superb omelettes and pasta, along with delicious local myrtille tarts, and sincere, friendly service."
