"UHM, SO. the atmosphere is gorgeous and so is the food. i arrived at 7:00pm and it’s probably the most magical time to go because the sun is setting and the fairy lights will come on. i ordered the kung pao cauliflower and the braised mushroom ravioli and the key lime pie. wow. wow. wow. soooo good. i wanted to try everything on the menu. i highly recommend this place for solo dates, couples, family and friends. the employees are kind and sweet."

"The Cafe was understaffed but they still let us order take out and sit indoors. The staff was very nice! Coffee was excellent, so was the croissant and chocolate cake but the macarons were too sweet and we didn't eat them. Prices were very expensive."

"We reserved space for our department dinner and everyone had a great time. The food was delicious and served hot, drinks were great and all the staff was super friendly. I would definitely recommend Shalhoob for dinner and drinks. The fish tacos and ribs were delicious!"

"Excellent food. The free tea was excellent, the best I ever had in the USA. I have tried many restaurants in the USA from East-West Coast, but this is one of my favorites. I went to this restaurant twice. I loved her Nirvana Paneer, tea, rice. Try when you're in town!"

"The last two times we have gone we have had the same experience...the service was very poor...don't understand why since they were not that busy.....My meal came out only warm at best....same problem a couple of months ago....its to bad since they have a very nice location on the harbor...but they need to get it together ...the other Chucks Steakhouse is always good...don't understand whats going on with this location"

"I celebrated a pre Fathers Day dinner last night and all six of our party just raved about the atmosphere, staff, and food. I can't wait to go again and try a outside table. Just went for brunch this Sunday and our party started with the Steamed Mussels. We were wowed. We each then proceeded to have traditional breakfast fare and there was no agreement on who's was best. Great meal for a midday visit to Santa Barbara."

"We would not have visited this restaurant we?re at not for the fact that it was around the corner from the hotel, and came highly recommended by some local friends. We absolutely loved it. Sitting outside on the street was pleasant, wait staff was very friendly and very quick. Service was wonderful overall. And the food from the kitchen was very well put together, especially for what appears to be a bar from the outside. Definitely try the corn cakes with jelly, they?re like nothing I?ve ever tried."
