"Wir komme seit ein paar Jahren sporadisch her. Fast ein gottverlassener Ort, wenn die Gäste nicht wären. Hier kann man bei schönem Wetter auf der Terrasse die Seele baumeln lassen und den Pferden auf der Koppe zuschauen - es ist schon fast kitschig. Was ich hier beurteilen kann ist der Wurstsalat mit Pommes. Einfach gut! Parkplätze hat es in der Regel genug - ausser an den Wochenenden. Da kann es durchaus einmal eng werden, speziell dann wenn das Schwingerfest stattfindet. Dann sind auch die Wiesen zugeparkt. Einziger Makel, den ich anbringen muss ist, das Servicepersonal ist nicht unbedingt "zu" aufmerksam. Leider muss man manchmal lange warten oder die Bestellung wird falsch aufgenommen/weiter gegeben. Wir kommen wieder. Trotzdem, als Gesamtpaket und für die wirklich schöne Aussicht ein sehr gut."

"Something alternative, nice and quiet and more of an insider tip. The menu is short and well put together from selected ingredients. In addition to the daily specials, there are also the usual dishes such as Schnippo, falafel, etc. The highlight, however, was the burger. Men/women should definitely bring enough hunger with them. The service is almost a bit overly attentive better that way than the other way around. Another highlight on the menu is certainly the Seedlip Gin, which you won't find everywhere! Unfortunately I forgot to take photos, I'm so sorry the food was just too tasty and I was too hungry. Priced normal moderate, 2 pers. Appetizer, main course drink approx. 50-60CHF per person. Vegetarian options: Of course, it also applies to animals that only consume rigid creatures. "We have been there during carneval with our group. We ordered a special meal for us, it was just delicious and not expensive at all, well done ; A week later we went with our family to have dinner there as well and it was...just superb. The staff is very friendly, the meal comes all together, no long time to wait, even if you're a lot of people, everybody can eat at the same time. Prices are just right, not too expensive at all. The atmosphere is very nice, through the windows one can see the St. Ursus cathedrale, which is worth to see it. All in one we really can recommend this restaurant to the fullest. This restaurant has also outdoor tables with seats, especially from Spring till Autumn it's very nice to sit outside, as it's a lovely view, as the restaurant is located in the heart of Solothurn :"
