"Catering. We have dined at Assinis many times and ordered in so often we have made friends with their delivery person (who is so friendly). We love his Greek salad, best dressing I've ever had, and his chicken souvlaki is spiced to perfection. Then there's the tzatziki, so good! But this last week was the first time we had them do some catering for our son's wedding rehearsal dinner. Vic, the owner/chef was so easy to work with, he put together an amazing menu for us, there was an abundance of delicious food, we even had leftovers for the wedding after party. The cost was very reasonable, and I would recommend them highly, we were very happy as were all of our guests."

"We popped in for a late lunch /early dinner and had probably the best service I have had in years. This waitress, tracey anticipated evey want or need and couldn't have been sweeter to my son. The food was nice but I would go back for the service"

"It was my wife's choice to eat here as she said they had a good range of food and reasonable prices. It was Thanksgiving Day evening but we got a table straight away. Not necessarily a positive sign. We were seated in a comfortable leather booth facing the big screen TV. We would have been happy with no TV but at least it was a ball game with the volume off. I like sport but conversation with my wife was the priority. The decor was fresh and clean and the bar had a vibrant water feature so very pleasing to the eye. But what about the food? I have to say there was a really wide range of food types. My wife chose candied salmon while I opted for chicken, broccoli and cheese with a mild curry spicing. I love curry and like it spicy but this milder version was very tasty and won me over immediately. The spinach and artichoke dip we shared was also really good. Portion size was generous too and service was attentive and friendly. We had a thoroughly enjoyable experience. When the waitress asked us if everything was OK it really was! I was wary that this may be a 'jack of all trades' restaurant but I have to say I really liked it and will be back to try the chicken pie, or a burger, or maybe pasta or ......."

"A place to go where you want to eat good quality food at a very cheap price. The food served are well cooked and are surprisingly prepared. Except for the crabs. They are overcooked and sometimes there is no meat inside their shell. The staff are friendly and they do their best to make you feel at ease."

"Lunch. Food and server were excellent. However, young lady who brought our lunch meals took 15-20 minutes to bring a spoon for my elderly father’s soup, after being politely asked. Had to ask her a second time after 10 min while we all waited and our food got cold while this young lady chatted socially, endlessly, with next table who had already finished their meals. Eventually,after second request, spoon arrived."
