"We jet skied to Tavernier and looked for a dockside place to eat lunch. Luckily What the Fish Rolls was open. Alex the owner was very helpful and explained the entire menu to us with his lovely Italian accent. The menu was fantastic for what we 're looking for. Seafood was the main topic starting with lobster rolls and fish tacos. We had some ceviche, lobster rolls, pork sandwich, mahi sandwich and shrimp calamari. It turned out to be a fantastic set of dishes. I 'm getting hungry just talking about it. YUMM! We also got to sit outside with a canal view and you can pull your boat up right to the location, so it 's very convenient for boaters. There is no indoor seating cuz the place is so small. You can even get whole lobsters there if you want. I 'm giving this place five stars which I rarely give because the service from the owner was just so special."

"My wife and I came here on the recommendation from the resort we are staying. The menu looks great. There’s a lot of variety and everything coming out of the kitchen looks really good. We started with coconut crusted mahi. It was delicious. In fact I got the coconut crusted grouper for dinner. My wife and I shared it. It came out very hot and was delicious. Wait staff was incredible. They kept our drinks filled all the time and were checking on us regularly. Not enough to be annoying but just enough to make us feel like they were concerned about our experience. I would definitely come here again."

"With most reviews, this is a five-star restaurant. It looks like they had a problem with some bad reviews in December, but our experience was totally five stars. Our server Renee could not be more helpful and personal. Our order came fast and was great. The pizza, if not the best is one of the top pizzas in the whole Florida Keys. We stay on a campsite in Marathon and the Bayside Bistro is famous and visited by many. I will return soon and recommend this restaurant."

"We specifically went there for the cheesecake. We actually purched a whole one. The reason was last year we visited and had the best key lime pie with a pecan and carmel) crust vs. traditional graham cracker. Needless to say, tlwe were disappointed it was NOT what we had last year. : ?"
