"We had breakfast here today on our way home from Whangarei what a fantastic cafe! The big breakfast and coffee were delicious, so much so that I had to have a second coffee, and the service was faultless. Our order arrived in good time too.<br/ <br/ The maitre'd was very friendly and efficient with both locals and out of town visitors alike and certainly made the breakfast a very pleasant experience.<br/ <br/ I highly recommend this cafe."

"The amount I could say about this takeaway is endless. The service and dining experience I received was just perfect, everyone was happy and joyful and we bonded as friends later on. There was a young worker there who was apparently the boy of the owner (who was kind of hot too ladies ; . The food I ordered, which was the chicken fried rice, was very exquisite as it left my taste buds and my stomach to order more for hours and on. The fish and chips tasted very fresh like it was pulled out of the ocean, and was of course served to me by the hot fellow Asian boy. Definitely my favorite places to eat even on a special night out. HIGHLY RECOMMEND!! (don't steal my boy though ;"

"Stopped in for lunch today, super tasty! Came with plenty of chips, which were very crisp, and the fish was fresh, tasty, and most importantly, oil free. Will definitely be going back!"

"This place makes really yummy pizzas!<br/ <br/ The sizes are HUGE that we had to takeaway (I can usually finish a whole pizza myself), loaded with cheese. The base is the thick bready type which I personally prefer over traditional thin crusts. Simple yet good.<br/ <br/ The milkshake cup was super tall too. Unfortunately my caramel milkshake tasted nothing like caramel, more just like sweet vanilla :s Will probably try another flavour next time.<br/ <br/ All in all husband and I love coming to this place for a quick bite when we travel past warkworth!"

"I ordered fried rice and was told it would take 20min to prepare. I waited for 30min and asked if the food was ready. The lady owner rudely said it would be ready in 5min. It still was not ready after the extra 5min at which point I asked for a refund. At that point the lady owner started yelling and complaining about wasting her food and refused to give me a refund. To be honest had the lady owner at any point apologized for the unexpected delay rather than behaving obnoxiously I would have accepted the food. Also as she was packing the food the food lid fell on the floor and was still used to cover the food. It is ironic that the owner talks about it being unhygienic to trial one of her other customers foul tasting smelling fish (per another review). After covering the food with the lid picked up from the floor she brought the food to the counter and rudely threw the food container towards me. I still insisted on a refund. Finally she collected notes and coins for the refund and rudely threw them over the counter. Again one of the owners responses talks about treating others with respect. There was zero respect shown for me on this day. At any point in time had the owner apologized or shown respect for her customer there would have been an amicable resolution of the delay in cooking the food."
