"Finally I decided to go to Geppetto for my birthday after hearing about it for years.I found it pretty average. Nothing special and I wouldn’t recommend it to anyone. We ordered the burrata for appetizer and it was bland and nothing special. The porcini lasagna was ok. It was bland and stuffy. My husband got the NY strip and it was BAD! He asked for medium and it was burnt and oily. Oh boy, the potatoes were baaaad. Dry and chewy. It is hard to make bad potatoes!The desert was ok.In general when I end up paying 200 for 1 app, 2 main courses, 2 glasses of wine and 1 dessert, I expect much better experience. A restaurant that has 4 dollar signs, needs to have a better bathroom and not a bathroom that is like what you find in a dive bar.Service was mediocre and they charge 5% kitchen service fee which is great for the kitchen staff. Also I do not to expect dine with toddlers in an upscale restaurant.The parking is very hard to find so if you have a reservation leave plenty of time for parking spot hunting."
