"We've been to Tartines many times over many years but last night was the last night we'll go there and we won't go back. First, about a quarter of the bar is set up with bar supplies so patrons can't sit there. It looks sloppy and messy. Second, the service was terrible. We sat at the bar and the bartender was inattentive. Once our food was put in front of us she never asked if we needed anything Fresh ground pepper on our salads would have been nice but was never offered and we couldn't get the bartenders attention to ask. Our pizza we ordered wasn't what we asked for. It had no red sauce on it, no sopresetta on it and the dough wasn't cooked on the bottom. We would have asked for red sauce on the side but we couldn't get the bartender's attention to ask. The menu has been paired down and prices marked up over the years. The experience is really not worth it anymore."
