"This is the sort of bar/restaurant that you can sit down with a drink and watch the people as they walk around the City. The plan was just to have 2 Blanche beers and then leave. However, after arriving at 11:30 we noticed how busy it was getting with locals tourists. We then decided to order lunch, which was a main salad meal. My other half had salad of pate, sliced ham, dried sausage salad and chips. I had auvergne salad which was local cheese, fried lardons and salad. Both meals came with bread. The food was good but basic. Don't except pure rustic French food. However, the owner, a Chinese chap was really, really nice. Try to spend some time talking to him as he is really friendly. We ended getting a free digestive drink : a Verveine du Puy, which is a local alcoholic beverage. Recommend the place to sit and watch the world or have a spot of lunch."

"The lunch menu is a good value. Nice service quick and friendly. I ordered a breaded goat's cheese in a tomato sauce. The plate was followed by a fish and risotto main course. The menu including desserts and coffee. a stunning value for €22. with wine and a second coffee we paid €29 each."

"Service trop long (plus de 3 h30 pour manger à 8!), mignardises et amuse gueules en quantité...Des plats assez bons mais finalement assez peu recherchés, des desserts très perfectibles-notamment un croustillant sans intérêt et une tarte au citron à notre goût trop sucré, tout cela pour une addition qui laisse assez insatisfait. Experience sans rapport avec les avis lus sur le site..."
