"Today I went thru the drive thru. I had placed an order thru the app. When I arrived at the second window I was told the shake machine was down so being I had ordered two shakes would I like a refund or something else to drink. I selected a refund as my kids only wanted a shake. The girl said no problem. Then appears the manager Anthony who told me he can’t give me a refund because I ordered thru the app. I said it’s ok if you can’t refund my regular payment you can just give cash as that is what they normally do whenever they are out of something. He said no, I’m not giving you any refund. If you want a refund you can contact McDonald’s in the app. He said the general manager instructed them to not give any refunds. I’m confused you’re telling me you don’t have what I ordered and are expecting me to be ok with not getting 8.00 back? I explained they could modify the order on their end to cancel the shakes. He continued to deny to assist me with the refund and told me to do it in the app. I pulled up the app to show him they already completed the order on their end so there’s no way for me to cancel it out. He said I’m not giving you a refund. I even suggested a gift card because I just wanted to get on my way and get my money back. He said no. Clearly when a restaurant doesn’t have something you have to refund the customer not harass them. I can tell you I have had this happen about 15 times where something isn’t available and it’s never a big deal every other McDonald’s just refunds your order including the other staff at this location. I have never encountered someone like Anthony who treats customers like this. Being he offered no resolution besides not giving me a refund I came up with the solution to just give me 4 frozen cokes as that was an even exchange. I did contact another McDonald’s and spoke with a polite manager and I was told that the employees can refund on their end and they can also modify the order. Maybe someone should explain this to Anthony how it’s supposed to work when you don’t have an item someone orders. The rest of the employees were very friendly and helpful like they are always at this location. Everyone is wonderful, this is the first negative experience I’ve had here. I never write reviews but I wanted to make the upper management aware of how you are treating customers so this doesn’t happen to someone else. It’s a shame. Simple concept you don’t have something someone has paid for you need to refund them."

"They don’t serve breakfast burritos after 11:00. Show up at 11:05 and they don’t serve them. The lazy person at the cash register insisted I use the ordering kiosk. She wouldn’t take my order. I’m getting sick of McDonald’s increasingly high prices, poor customer service and the fact that they don’t serve breakfast burritos until noon. Lus the attitude of employees is bad"

"My husband and I ordered a Large 2 cheeseburger meal with no onions and Dr Pepper, the 2 for 6 mcdouble and Nuggets, and another large dr pepper. We confirmed our order when the lady read it back and then confirmed it on the screen. We pay at the first window and continue to the second. They give us the bag of food and one Dr pepper so my husband mentioned the missing Dr pepper but the drive thru guy showed us it wasn't on the recept.... okay but it was on the screen... it's fine its just a drink so we go. We go to exit the parking lot and I realized his Nuggets were missing so we go back through the drive thru. They then take our receipt *AND THE FOOD (uh COVID anybody? back through the window. We tried showing them everything in the bag from our car but the man claimed he couldn't see. The manager then returns and snaps I checked the cameras and we specifically gave you the bag with the Nuggets in it, we replaced it this time, but we won't replace them again My husband tried to explain that we never received any but we figured after the missing Dr pepper incident they lost our patience with us and we left."

"This McDonald's is almost always on point when it comes to order freshness and customer service. For the first time in almost 2 years I received a stale sandwich. I'm saying the bread was so hard I couldn't bite it and the cheese was a hardened layer, not melted. I was extremely shocked at this because this location had really stepped it up over the last year. I didn't return it because I was already home and my kids were tired from the day. The employees working that night were friendly, but gave off a passive aggressive vibe. Not sure what's going on."
