"We frequent the La Prep franchise in Cross Iron mall and have always been satisfied so we decided to use their downtown location to cater a business meeting. The food arrived promptly, was exactly what we had ordered, and was excellent. The assorted pastries were particularly good, I highly recommend them. The staff at this location were also very accommodating throughout the process. We will definitely use La Prep catering again in the future!"

"Terrific little diner in the heart of calgary near the east village. The sandwiches were fabulous and the service was terrific. I hear there are busier during the week to cater to the business crowds. It did not disappoint even though it was the weekend.. keep up the great work.. We need more places like this.."

"Ate breakfast here - lots of options from traditional breakfast meals to quick, buffet style breakfasts. Our meals came quickly. Eggs and toast were perfect. Bacon was a bit too smoky and chewy and the "hashbrowns" were not hashbrowns but breakfast potatoes. Prices were reasonable for a hotel restaurant."

"My wife and I stumbled upon this place; we were more than pleasantly surprised. It is a quaint little restaurant with excellent service and tasty food. The prices are very reasonable. We had just entered and were promptly seated; as we settled in our waitress (Chariz) asked if she could start us on water and coffee -- which never were empty throughout the meal. We had sufficient time with the menu and did not feel rushed. Our waitress was very pleasant, courteous and sweet -- she was always smiling. The food was very tasty. My wife had the Eggs Sunset ; I had the 8oz NY Steak. I always order a steak Med Rare since many still over cook it -- this was just the way I like it AND had spices on it!! I like flavour and this steak had it. We enjoyed the visit and definitely will return.Note: there is quite a bit of seating but I can see this place filling up fast on a Sunday morning -- so allow time. We came at 2 PM on a Saturday and there was a fair amount of traffic in/out."

"First time visit to Calgary and we were looking for a breakfast restaurant if not unique to the city then at least with western roots. Humpty's fit the bill. My wife and son do not enjoy breakfast so stuck with sandwiches. There was egg, bacon and tomato on a croissant with a fruit cup and a club sandwich with caesar salad. The croissant was crumbly buttery tasty and the club sandwich was loaded with bacon. The downside to my wife and son was that the fruit cup seemed to be a mix of fresh and canned fruit and the caesar salad had too much dressing. I had the traditional Eggs Benedict with hash browns and couldn't finish it all. Tea was served in a large thermos so no need to ask for extra hot water. My coffee was served in a tall cup and I only had room for one but refills were free. We weren't looking for fancy. We were looking for good, quick, sit down food. Humpty's was what we were looking for."
