"We went here with a big group since it came in second on Tripadvisor. We tried different starters (ceviche), which were nice but not great. The shrimp are not fresh and probably are deepfrozen cocktail shrimp. Since the ceviches are kind of expensive (28.000) that...didnt please us. After that a lot of us had the Lomo Ambrosio, which was a piece of beef with a red wine sauce and shrimp. When you name a dish after your restaurant, you expect it to be good. Unfortunately it wasnt. The steak was great but the sauce and shrimp (again not fresh) were a weird combo.. the Chicken ambrosio was nice. We got a ice cream on the house, which was great! We havent eaten at another restaurant in Mompox, but in my opinion a little scoop of icecream shouldn’t be the best part of a meal. Others thought it was good.. But I guess taste differs. Also, the wine was really expensive (100.000) and they didnt even show us a wine list, although we asked for it.. Really didnt like that!!!"
