"While it appeared that the buffet was the main attraction for most people, we are always more inclined to eat off the a-la-carte menu. Granted it was a busy Thursday night before the Easter weekend, but service was a bit slow. The food was fine, and rather plentiful, there was a kids menu available, and they were happy to substitute fries with vegetable, but It was pretty noisy with a number of large groups booked in."

"We had dinner in the bayleaf and had the banquet. it was extraordinary. there was so much to eat. everything was delicious. the service was the first class to eat. highly recommended to eat at bayleaf, they will not be disappointed that they are!"

"That is the sweetest caffe! they do not necessarily have a GF menu, but when I asked about modifications, that told me I had many possibilities. I ordered the salmon-turkish and they made it with gf brot. themselves asked if I was a gluten-free preference or zöliakie. when I said that they would make my food in another part of the kitchen. they would be highly recommended!"

"Delightful young lady served us lunch which was a chicken burger and a Greek salad with halloumi, the salad was ok but tiny, two bits of cheese and some leaves and a few olives ($12), joke! The chicken burger was cheap rubbish, frozen reconstituted horror! ($9). Not good, life is too short for food like this, which is ironic really, (could shorten it)."

"My friends and I were there Monday night sat down service was not great went to order our food my friend ordered the banquet for $89 dollars which was fine the waitress looked dumb foundered I then ordered the same made it quite clear 2...of them and other food and drinks said again 2 banquets yes I understand she said first part comes out only two off beef chicken fish scewers I ask is this right and with attitude yes that is right the big platter came out only one I ask again fell on deaf ears she couldn’t care less walked of and bang it sunk in came back and said no only one was ordered I said that not right she walked off 5 people $530 for dinner still can’t order and get what you want and with attitude. Thanks very much for the experience bay leaf"

"Apologies to the cooks as the food here is pretty good yummy and generous. The service, however, is abominable. All the waitstaff look angry, make no eye contact, and look like they are doing you a massive favour in delivering your food; it was...so bad that I said as I paid, ‘Can I say, you all need to learn to smile’, at which the staff taking my money looked infuriated. I blame management for this. Clearly there is a problem disharmony in the team. I wouldn’t go back because service is a big part of one’s experience when eating out."
