"Coffee v good.Food nice, not exceptional. Some parts overpriced.Service way, way below standard. As if they don't want you there. Initially pushed to order, then had to keep asking for someone to take our order. Main breakfast dish and sides coming out different times. Some finished their meals, others not getting anything. When the last meal came (again in 2 episodes), a complaint was made and the waiter agreed to take it off the bill. Not one "sorry, here you go" from any of 3 wait staff.When paying, the manager refused to take the last meal off the bill. He said we were lying and he had video CCTV to prove it (but wouldn't bother to check...) Why did the waiter agree? Why didn't he ask the 3 waitresses that served us?We didn't want to make a scene but he certainly did - the customers looking on weren't impressed. He made personal remarks about us. Unprofessional, petty and pretty dumb. Likely not to last under current management."

"Everyone loves italian food which is why it's one of the top 3 most searched cuisines in Australia - yes, you can quote me on that! It's a nice cute setup central to a lot of places. The service was pretty casual and non pretentious which is always good - great night out and very busy on a Monday night. <br>

Crab Fettucine - beautiful fresh pasta with a lovely broth running through. Aesthetically - quite clinical, it's more about the aroma and taste with this dish really. Friend had the Capriciosa Pizza which was apparently "delicious".. For dessert I had the Strawberry cheesecake which has a mousse kind of texture as fresh strawberries are mixed through the mascarpone. <br>

If you want to compare this place to other places like Made in Italy (Pyrmont), maybe Elvio's (Darlinghurst), La Piazza (Bankstown), Andiamo Trattoria (Summer Hill) or Sicilian (Parramatta) - this place has absolutely no chance of competing. However, to be more contextually appropriate and fair, the location here is at the junction point of students-ville, on the edge of the lucrative CBD working commuter market, and on the border of ultimo, redfern/chippendale, broadway and haymarket… So this place is a much needed and standout option for sure in comparison to what's on offer. It wouldn't be my first choice though..."

"A really nice place with a great environment to taste wine. This is also a great place for a casual online meeting or a small talk between close friends to enjoy the after-work time. I enjoyed my afternoon here with the tasting flight of Four Shades of Wine. This flight is friendly for ladies and also a great choice for wine beginners. And last weekend I attended a workshop which was held by Handpicked Wines and Ding Tai Fung. This was my first time to try traditional Chinese steam food with wines. I have to say it was a great experience. Both of the handpicked wines and Ding Tai Fung food are worth trying."

"We had dinner at the Golden Fang Chinese Restaurant while catching up with a friend in Sydney. Admittedly it's not a restaurant I'd normally choose to go for, as from the street the atmosphere inside doesn't look all the inviting. We went based on the...recommendation of our friend (a Sydney local). Oh boy we were not disappointed. The food was delicious and the staff super polite and helpful. If I could make a recommendation is to get the "Lemon Chicken" as it's the best lemon chicken I've ever had. If you want good Chinese food, The Golden Fang is the place"

"Since Cafe Giulia is so nasty about having dogs in their cafe I think I should warn everyone who has a furkid. There is no table service in this cafe and the only way you can order is at the cashier at the front. Menu...is on a board behind the cashier so the way to go is to order, then walk to the back where dogs were suppossedly allowed, and wait for your food/ drinks. Note that menu is extensive and you might need a min or two before you could make up your mind on your order. Less than 30 seconds since I stepped foot into the cafe, an older and stout gentlement wearing an apron walked up to me. He clapped his hands, and went Out. no dogs allowed. Word for word. I was stunned for a second, and explained I will order my food then move to the back. He 's like Nope. No dogs allowed at the front. Out. So I asked how else can I order my food? He ignored me. So I said to him You are not very friendly arent you? He totally disregarded me and walked away. There are so many ways to put a message across but cafe giulia has chosen to treat me like this. He could have a) Told me dogs are not allowed at the front. Move to the back and someone will take my order given this special situation. b) Allowed me to order and quickly move my dog to the back. He has showed no remorse in his action when I told him he 's not being nice to me. Wow. I have been patronising Cafe Giulia for 8 years. And you just lost a customer forever. ps: I own a tiny maltese cross shihtsu"
