"The lovely dining area is classic, with beautiful antique decor additions. Servers are excellent, extremely kind and attentive. The food is first class. We had the carrot soup, salmon, and mushroom ravioli. The chef knows what he’s doing! Excellent."

"My wife and I are Cafe lovers and visit them often. Das Nashwerk reminded us of the quality you find in cafes at train stations and airports, yet the prices are on a scale with Vienna's best. Das Naschwerk looks very nice from outside. There...is a raised wooden platform with chairs and awnings. It is self-service and the only dining area staff do table busing. Inside is a far-less appealing dining area and a counter. They had about 10 different kinds of torte and another section with hand pastries like croissants and donuts. The counter person gave the impression that I was disturbing her reverie. Many of the torte were uncut and it was not clear what they were. There were more signs than cakes. When I asked which one was a particular listed one, she told me it was not there. I asked the same about a second one and was told (with some degree of annoyance in her voice) that the tags had nothing to do with what was there. I finally settled on two different offerings, a coffee and a cappuccino. After I took these to the table (in two trips as there were no trays) we tasted each other's items. The coffees were weak and low in taste. The torte were very light on taste and the cake dough undistinguished. Were the service not unfriendly, the cakes would still be below average. Combined, my rating is a low 2 points."
