"We were there for Bastille Day. Lovely lunch with great cafe gourmand. The giant fish and the noisy frogs in the pond kept all the children occupied. Very relaxing meal. We are going back while we are in Gaillac."

"Delicious food from quite an extensive menu. The deserts won the day for inventiveness and taste. The only niggle we had was the abruptness of the waiter. Maybe he was having a bad day? It made us somewhat uncomfortable. We felt that in general there was not a welcoming feel to La Verrerie apart from one or two of the staff. Shame when the food was so good."

"This place was very nice! The food was great, the ambience lovely and the waitress was wonderful. Her English was very good and she explained everything from the menu, which has over 20 different choises. She adviced us what was especially nice and also told us when we ordered too much. No such thing as selling as much as possible, but she just wanted to make our night special at which she very much exceeded. At the end of our dinner the owner came by to ask us if everything was as we wished.If you have any room for dessert go for the bannoffee pie, the best one I had in ages!"
