"Beautiful all around store/bakery full of happiness and positivity. Items range from Paintings by Misericordia Residents to Brownie Parfaits filled with caramel. Fruit cups if you're feeling healthy and iced brownies if your sweet tooth is asking for it. Volunteers are kind, helpful, and don't nag you to buy everything in the store. Manager was happy to help us with a nut allergy, pointing out what to buy and what not to. Seating is plentiful, and windows capture lots of light, brightening up the room. Everyone who comes in is nothing but smiles! All around awesome place filled with happy. Worth your time"

"Our family ate here tonight. 4 adults, two 4 year olds and a 21 month old.The environment is absolutely lovely. Set amongst a treed garden with paths to follow and statues scattered throughout for the kids to find and fairy lights that add to the magical atmosphere.The wait staff, although young, are super friendly and helpful.Unfortunately this is where the charm ends.The website promises a childrens play area however one small piece of play equipment in a fenced astro-turfed area does not a play area make in my eyes.The food was a huge disappointment being way over priced and overall disappointing.Between us we ordered 3 different pizzas, one dairy free, a share antipasto platter and 3 different deserts.The pizzas were soggy and the toppings were sparce. One was made incorrectly and we had to wait while it was remade. The dairy free pizza was ment to contain dairy free cheese but did not. The waiter unfortunately dropped a piece of pizza on the way to the table and said he would bring us a new pizza immediately. Totally reasonable I thought but this didn't happen.The deserts, one of which was served in a paper take away coffee cup $12! were also very disappointing.The menu promised strawberries on one of the items but when it arrived without any, and upon my enquiry, we were informed they didnt have any. After the number of missing items, incorrect orders and unfortunate events we anticipated a discount on the bill. $170+ was reduced by $4. We definitely wont be back."

"I'm always around this plaza in Glenview and never visited this hidden gem (until now)! I wanted to try something new and saw this was on my way home coming from Vernon Hills area. The place itself (not pictured) is small. There are a couple of seats and chairs. When I got there, there was only one big group and another customer ahead of me. I waited about 10+ mins to get both orders which was when this place started to get packed. I decided to eat in my car instead due to the space which is not a big deal. The dessert cup (Tropical Nava) which has a plethora of jellies, sago, jackfruit, coconut shreds with a coconut milk base was pretty good. Reminds me a lot of buko pandan (a Filipino dessert) and Che Thai (Vietnamese fruit cocktail). It was kinda on the sweeter side but the not so sweet condiments balanced it out. It didn't wow me since my culture has a version of this but it was definitely different from other boba places. The bao I got was pork belly. If you're Filipino, it reminded me a lot like pork adobo. This bao was topped with some pickled carrots and daikon (I think). It was interesting combo and good. Both items I think if you have the time, you can make at home. Prices were reasonable."
