"Grey's and the New Inn seem to attract little attention when they really do deserve a lot more attention. Neither are pretentious but could make a little more effort to get a better reputation. The one member of staff was OK but could have been a bit more enthusiastic. The cream tea was pretty good, the surroundings even better. Good value and an oasis in the middle of the city. The toilets were pretty disgusting and showed a lack of attention and how hard is it to ensure that there is soap to wash your hands with? I suspect that from this visit and previous visits that they are struggling to recruit staff. No matter, I would return."

"I have visited many branches of this chain as it is far better than all the other coffee shop chains. The collee is always very good. The downside is, with all the branches, the tables aren't cleared or cleaned by the stff quickly enough or...often enough. There is usually at least one table where customers have piled up crockery from other tables. We usually have to clear and clean our own table. I don't think the staff are lazy, it is probably due to understaffing."

"The tea is good as expected from the Chatime branch and flavour wise I have no complaints. But the place always seem to be out of pearls come 7pm and they seem to not be bothered about the fact that they're losing out on 50p per drink! Whenever I go there late, the place is always full of people ordering a milk tea but everyone is having to go without the pearls. Also, when taking orders it would be great if the servers did not stop to take more orders before finishing someone's drink. Sometimes you have to wait 10-15 minutes for a tea because they don't seem to like a queue forming, but they're happy to let their customers who have already paid wait even longer."

"This sweet little from the way coffee shop is just the task to relax after walking a foot from shopping, are tight really polite and friendly, pearl is very good with my grand who has allergies, and he loves to chat when at his partying down, also eat on earth!"

"Before lockdown I 'd accumulated many loyalty points on the old card system. After lockdown tried to redeem these but told we don 't use cards anymore, it 's all on the app and reused to give me the one free coffee which I was entitled to. When I queried it, the position was reinforced by an equally arrogant colleague who said they could do nothing about it. I really don 't believe that they couldn 't have just given me a cup of coffee on the presentation of my cards!"

"I visited Starbucks on two consecutive days in August for a breakfast (preferrable to that offered by my hotel). The choice was good, the service brisk and professional, the venue was venue clean and airy. I was able to sit out and eat al fresco [weather was definitely a bonus). Sorry to read that some other reviewers had a bad experience. Five 's from me"

"I went to the bus when I discovered this little jewel opening. the inner has cloged my spidy sinn! and then I discovered the cake display! So I dropped a text to my better half that we should go! we go in and the smell of food and coffee beats us oh my we order a hot chocolate, banana tar bosh and two cream cookies! we'll sit down. the owners of tarboshcafe are a really nice couple! the service we received was amazing! against the end of the meal, we became a plate with a datum cake and a baklava (never had such a beautiful before honest youngs! gooo! the eating is beautiful! and then fromc, I roamed in the interior because of the interior design. Please note the authentic handmade mirrors made of Egypt's hand stitched kisses. the decor was made by the owner and I think she has done an amazing work. beautiful small apartment! beautiful decor, wonderful food and great prices : go and look! give them custom it is a really beautiful place!"
