"First time patrons at the Bedford location. The staff were excellent as was the food. Decor was warm and welcoming. Very reasonably priced and the food was great. Very nice touch at the end of the meal when we were presented with fruit slices as a finishing treat. Highly recommended."

"Vegetarian review:There are a lot of vegetarian options, they even offer to replace meat with black bean in almost all dishes.We ordered fruit crepe and blueberry pancakes which were delicious and refreshing. Custard was the Rockstar in crepes.Smoothie had pretty amazing taste and was healthy as well kale mango)Totally recommend for breakfast and brunches."

"These guys have GREAT egg rolls. Most of the other food is ok, typical takeout fare, but oh my god the egg rolls. It's true as other reviews state that the dining room is a bit outdated but I don't know what you expect from a budget restaurant in this area. Seriously, though. Get the egg rolls."

"We had breakfast included with our room so we ate here every day. Unlike the Marriott at Niagara Falls, there was no wait here at all. The hostesses were friendly and efficient. The buffet was one the better hotel ones. It had the omelette and waffles station, many chafing dishes with scrambled eggs, bacon, potatoes, sausages and two that changed each day, I know there were blintzes one day. There was a big selection of cereal, oatmeal, yogurt and very nice fresh fruit. There was toaster with bagels, English muffins, etc and some baked goods like muffins and danishes. They had nice cheese platters with some cold meats as well. But the icing on the cake - smoked salmon with all the fixings! Excellent!!! I highly recommend the breakfast buffet. We didn't have dinner here but we did stop in for dessert and tea one night. We had the Chocolate Frenzy (or something like that ) and Toffee cake. Both were OUTRAGEOUS. (See pics)"

"I have been wanting to try this place for years and I think I may have had impossible expectations. I also am getting very tired of restaurants who can't put "GFO" next to items I can eat on their menu. This review rating may be reflective of these things. I looked at the menu before attending and chose plan A and plan B since I didn't know what I could eat. When the waiter greeted us he said I could eat most of the menu. (I should note the menu changes seasonally, so just because we can't eat something on this menu, it can change). He said he'd tell me what I couldn't eat because it was easier. Ok. Some of my plans changed. No biggie. Placed order. Can't have that appetizer I want either actually. New plan. Waiter returns. I actually can't have the main I chose either. Ok. New plan. Returns with food. Sets down plate. Immediately picks back up. Not gluten free. I watched husband eat while mine remade. I was really excited for dessert anyway. Photos looked amazing. Dessert options were sorbet or Gelato, so I didn't bother. Food tasted really good. Cocktails were amazing. The true highlight was focacia bread made in-house. Bread was delightful. View was gorgeous. Not saying I won't return but for the price and hassle of being gluten free here I don't understand the great recommendations. There are so many better places nearby. Maybe we just went on a bad night."

"The last time I went to Smitty's was out west, and their reputation wasn't the greatest, which is probably I've waited until now to go to this local one near my house. I was very pleasantly surprised though. The service was prompt, friendly and excellent and the food was way better than I remember it being. I ordered a custom breakfast that wasn't on the menu and the waitress brought it out exactly as I requested. Very impressed. Love the bottomless coffee as well. The menu is so huge though, making a decision can be tough. Can't go wrong with their all-day breakfast though."
